My Tarlac Lights Up the World with Belenismo

My Tarlac Lights Up The World With Belenismo by Betty Ann Bessa-Quirino

My story about how my hometown, Tarlac, created the Belenismo, an annual display of life-sized, fully illuminated nativities dotting the highways of this province’s 18 municipalities. The nativity creations are made voluntarily by local residents from indigenous materials and brings the community together. Valuable lessons learned that one need not look far for peace, goodness and kindness in the world. This article won a Plaridel Award 2016 excellence in journalism for Best Tourism Feature given by the Phil-American Press Club in San Francisco, CA. https://www.positivelyfilipino.com/magazine/my-tarlac-lights-up-the-world-with-belenismo
