What I Am Grateful For

PositivelyFilipinoGratitudeNote

This little note fell out of my journal. My son, Constante gave it to me with his gift. He graduated from Drexel University (BA Communications and Sociology, 2012) on the same day as my birthday last year. We were very proud of him. He surprised me with the news that he was graduating cum laude that day.  I jumped and shrieked with joy as he told me the news, while we waited in line to get inside the gym for the graduation. It was a hot scorching day in June, but I didn’t mind. I had much to be grateful for.

When my editors at PositivelyFilipino.com asked me to share what I was thankful for, I opened my journal and saw this. It was a reminder of how much I am blessed with.

As I feverishly cooked for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, I also stopped and took the time to appreciate what I have in my life. In summary, even the difficulties combined with the joys, have been wonderful.

Read the rest of my ‘Gratitude Note’ on Positively Filipino.com, an online magazine about the Philippines.

With grateful thanks for your loyal following, I wish you, my readers, many blessings these holidays !

This is a beautiful post. Congratulations on your son’s cum laude! You’re great mom and raised your children beautifully! I hope I can do the same for my children. 🙂 Please keep inspiring us. Very heartwarming post!
