Meyer Lemon Frozen Margarita

I used freshly-picked Meyer Lemons for this Meyer Lemon Frozen Margarita. This lemon variety is sweeter than the regular tart ones, and are close in citrusy flavor to the Filipino calamansi (calamondin). Meyer lemons are in season from November to March and are great for cooking and baking. And for whipping up a pleasant frozen Margarita cocktail, these lemons are the best. This Asian in America post by Elizabeth Ann Quirino was inspired by a recipe from the How To Cook Philippine Desserts, Cakes, and Snacks Cookbook.
